Sudar and College:

I joined Ambika College and now I am in my final year of B.B.A. My aim is to do MBA after finishing this.

Both my parents are interested in my studies but my father’s drinking habit prevents him from helping me much in my studies. Sometimes, I find it difficult to pay the fees in time. My mother’s elder sister used to help me to a lot but, unfortunately, she passed away recently. WEP-Sudar helps me with a scholarship. I am grateful to WEP for that. I am also able to make use of the library for expanding my knowledge. I am learning computer application and desktop publishing Tally, C++ and Hindi. I attended the WEP-Sudar Alumnae Day and was able to learn a lot about Sudar from my seniors. They are all praise for it. I come to Sudar daily and I am able to spend my time usefully.

In Sudar, I have good friends. They are very affectionate and prepared to help me not only in studies but in all.

Home:

I live in a small hut in Madurai Sellur area (many are poor). But the people in the neighborhood are friendly and affectionate. My elder brother is employed. My elder sister is looking for a job. My father works in Textile Company. I have some very good friends.

My Favorite friend:

My favorite friend is Ananthi Meena. We have been friends for several years right from early school days. We understand each other very well and rarely do we quarrel. Now, she is studying in a different college but we meet at least once a week.

Unforgettable incident:

The death of my mother’s elder sister cannot be easily forgotten. She was so loving, so affectionate and so understanding that I was closer to her than to my parents. I used to share my joyful moments and moments of sadden and sorrow. I could open my heart to her. She would listen to me patiently and try to help me as much as possible.

Sudar has been a source of inspiration to me. And I am sure that I will definitely come up in life and be a source of help and inspiration to others.
