International Women’s Day (March 8th) is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. She Creates Change and Women’s Education Project, two organizations that help women achieve their fullest potential, came together to celebrate women’s accomplishments on this special day.
It was a memorable evening of networking, motivational speeches, raffle prize gifts, and the inspiration to realize goals and dreams!Time for School Screening, Brooklyn, NY, February 24th, 2010 -
A free screening of PBS’s “Time for School”, an unprecedented, award-winning 12-year documentary following seven children to their classrooms in Afghanistan, Benin, Brazil,India, Japan, Kenya, and Romania.
Producer Tamara Rosenburg was present for a Q + A.
The evening was sponsored by Women’s Education Project and by Film Sprout, a Brooklyn-based documentary distribution company that brings independent,social-issue films to grassroots audiences.
