Women’s Education Project’s I Am a Leader Academy is a unique curriculum designed by WEP students for WEP students, to decide what they want to do with the most exciting adventure in the world: their life!
The I Am a Leader Academy offers its Scholars certificates exploring life’s opportunities and ideas by visiting interesting places, meeting interesting people, volunteering, exploring career possibilities and developing the skills (online and in-person courses) to pursue them.
By experiencing, reflecting, doing, making decisions, developing opinions, setting goals, and being curious, Scholars discover their inner leader, voice, values, and how they wish to participate in their family, community, and the world. Most importantly, the Scholars understand that nurturing these is part of life’s adventure so that their spark will always be bright, for others to follow.
